I've been making mono-prints now for a few years. I use rubber rather than linoleum because it's easier, and then layers and layers of mostly printed and "brayed" ink. "Brayed" is my own term for basically using the brayer (which is for applying ink to the print) to roll ink directly on the page. There's also a variety of other media in there at times: pen & ink, brush & ink, and/or acrylic paint. Through all this, and experiments with a variety of print blocks, One of my print blocks keeps coming back up. It's this concentric circle print I carved when I first started getting back into printmaking a couple years ago. I used it for my homepage here, and just thought I'd throw up a quick blog post with those Bull's Eyes and a few others as well.
